Educational and Fun Activities to Better Understand Nature!

For more than 30 years, GUEPE has been recognized as a leader in natural and environmental science education. Throughout the school year, GUEPE offers biodiversity discovery activities in the classroom or outdoors, adapted to all levels, from daycare to high school!

Among the activities we offer, discover our in-class activities, our educational field trips in parks close to schools and in conservation parks, as well as our overnight school trips in Charlevoix!

On the agenda: educational games, interactive group activities, short scientific presentations and live animals. Our collection of natural artifacts will surely delight your students!

Why choose a GUEPE activity?

  • Our activities are designed and facilitated by a team trained in natural sciences and are diversified to explore all aspects of the living universe! Choose from a variety of themes, including mammals, insects, reptiles and amphibians or rocks and minerals, and learn all their secrets!
  • Our activities are a perfect complement to the Quebec Education Program and are real teaching tools for teachers.
  • Our nature educators are not only passionate about biodiversity and the environment, but they are also dynamic and exciting to listen to!

  • Our nature educators are trained in first aid, so you can have peace of mind!
  • We are present in Montréal, Charlevoix and the Eastern Townships and can travel to the surrounding areas.

Financial Assistance

A Montréal School for All

A Montréal School for All is a program of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. Targeted schools have access to a financial contribution to, among other things, go on field trips. The amount received could allow you to cover all or part of the transportation and activity costs.

GUEPE has been a partner of the program for many years. Teachers can choose their desired theme from among our field trips in a partner park. Our activities, which are in line with the Quebec Education Program, allow students to discover biodiversity and to learn about natural sciences.

Culture in the Schools

Culture in the Schools is a program of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. The amount received could allow you to cover all or part of the transportation and activity costs.

GUEPE is a partner in the Science Culture component. Teachers can choose their desired theme from among all of our in-class activities or field trips to a partner park. Our activities, which are in line with the Quebec Education Program, allow students to discover biodiversity and to learn about natural sciences.

Virtual activities: the program authorizes the financing of virtual (distance) activities.

Fonds d’action québécois pour le développement durable

Destination nature! is a new program to help youth aged 15 to 24 experience nature!

This Quebec government program is administered by the Fonds d'action québécois pour le développement durable (FAQDD). Intended for high school and college students, it hopes to enable youth aged 15 to 24 from all backgrounds to enjoy the benefits associated with being in contact with nature, as well as to share the knowledge and desire to participate in its conservation.

Destination nature! offers free transportation to take groups to a natural environment for a stimulating experience and to create a connection with nature.
