CONTENTS

• Playful presentation of the different parts of trees and their functions;
• Interpretive walk to identify common tree species;
• Educational game about animals that use trees as a home;
• Activity on the different methods of seed dispersal;*
• Discussion or fun game about the roles of trees;
• Analysis of one or more trees: size, leaf shape, soil type, canopy spread, etc.;**
• Discovery table featuring plant-related artifacts.

For the 4.5-hour winter outing: tobogganing (replacing one of the active games).*
