
Beauséjour Water Sports Site
GUEPE manages this water sports site and offers introductions to kayaking and activities guided by nature educators in addition to kayak and canoe rentals. With our specialists, discover the secrets and treasures of the Back River (rivière des Prairies).

Autonomous Activities
Rentals ($)
- Single kayaks (1 person);
- Tandem kayaks (2 people).
Rentals are available on-site, with no advance reservation required. First come, first served!

Water Rally
Discover the natural riches of Montréal’s aquatic and riverside environments by taking part in a self-guided rally during your kayak outing!
Duration: 1 to 1.5 hours
Free and available during the rental counter’s opening hours. Limited availability per day; no reservations required. Please arrive at the counter at least 2 hours before closing to receive instructions.
Can be done with a rental or your own boat. A 2-hour rental will be charged at the 1-hour rate for those participating in the rally.
The “Ça bouge sur l’eau” program is powered by Sport et Loisir de l’île de Montréal (SLIM) and made possible thanks to financial support from the Quebec Ministry of Education, in collaboration with GUEPE.

Introduction to Kayaking activties ($) are available during the water sports site’s operating hours, subject to equipment and staff availability. Please call in advance to confirm availability and reserve your time slot.
Groups
- We invite you to make your request by email by sending the information about your event to the following address: pleinair@guepe.qc.ca.
- We are only able to welcome groups during the opening period of the water sports sites.
- The terms and conditions remain the same as those of the rental service.

- Waterproof bags available for water activities;
- Welcome centre with bathrooms;
- Snack bar;
- Picnic area;
- Children's playground.

Parking
- Bike rack available.
- Street parking is available on nearby streets. Please read the signs carefully before parking.
Good to Know
For a safe and enjoyable experience, consider bringing a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, closed shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather.
In case of bad weather conditions (thunderstorms, high winds, etc.), activities may be cancelled and GUEPE staff will contact you.
It is mandatory to remain in the designated zone at all times.
