The Nature of Agriculture

Our nature educators will tell you about the biology of what's in your plate! On the menu : activities with various themes to satisfy your curiosity! Choose between kiosks, discovery activities and family story time.

Perfect for public markets or any other large-scale event related to agriculture, the environment or nature.

*NEW* FAMILY STORY TIME AND DISCOVERY ACTIVITY COMBO

You want a little bit more than a kiosk? Experience an interactive presentation alternating between a story time and discovery activities for young families.

Available themes:

• Discovering Pollinators
• The Season of Fruits and Vegetables
• My Ecological Plate

Available stories (in French only):

• Étoile and Pommette: From seed to tree, follow the adventures of an apple unlike any other.
• The Crow's Black Dress: A crow in love envied the colors of other birds... Who will be able to help?
• The Legend of the Ash: This tall tree is the last to be adorned with buds in the spring, but he doesn't worry about it.
• The Beetle and the Water Lilly: Discover pollination in a love story between a plant and an insect.

Each story lasts 15 to 20 minutes. In total, there will be four presentations for a total of 2 hrs.

KIOSKS

Prepare to be amazed by our many artifacts and fascinated by what you will learn during this in-place activity.

• Discovering a Maple Grove

Kiosks last 3 hrs. To spice up your kiosk, it is possible to add a facilitated story time and activity of 15 to 20 minutes each, for a total of 1 hr.
