Introduction to Kayaking
Outdoors
This activity is intended for beginners. Please note that it will be held in French.
Learn how to handle a paddle alone or in a group and learn the basic techniques to be autonomous in a kayak.

INCLUDES
- Kayak;
- Personal flotation device (PFD) and water safety kit;
- 1 hour with a guide (at the parc de Beauséjour, Pierrefonds and Lachine water sports sites, the activity lasts 2 hours, the second hours being a rental).
*At the Lachine water sports site, its also possible to bring your own equipment for an inferior rate.
GENERAL TERMS
- Ability to swim;
- Signing the Risk Acknowledgement and Acceptance form;
- Meeting the minimum age requirements :
- Children need to be at least 12 years old to board a watercraft;
- 12 to 17 year-olds can board a watercraft alone, but must be accompanied by an adult, themselves in a watercraft;
- Respecting the maximum weight capacity of the watercraft;
- No animals are allowed on board the watercrafts.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- For a full refund, you must cancel your reservation at least 48 hours before the beginning of the activity;
- You can still cancel your reservation with a $5 fee 48 hours before and up until the beginning of the activity;
- Once the activity has started, you can no longer cancel, make changes or be refunded.
RESERVATION ET PAYMENT
- Online payments by credit card only;
- Reserve online via Reservotron between 14 and 0 days before the rental.
GOOD TO KNOW
- It is recommended to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of your reservation;
- For a safe and enjoyable experience, consider bringing a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, closed shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather.
- Please only bring items that can follow you on your watercraft. A waterproof bag may be useful. No lockers or changing rooms will be available on site.
