Family Fishing

These two-hour activities introduce families to fish species found in Quebec's waterways, fish anatomy and biology, sport fishing regulations and invasive species that threaten aquatic ecosystems. Children are then invited to cast their rod and fish with two nature educators.

GOOD TO KNOW

  • All equipment is provided by GUEPE ;
  • Only children (and adults who have their own valid fishing license) can fish;
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult during the activity and adults must also reserve a spot (1 ticket per person);
  • To make the most of your activity, we recommend dressing for the weather. Think about bringing a water bottle, sunscreen and closed shoes.
