Spring Break Camp
What Is the Mitt Fest?
It's our spring break day camp for children aged 6 to 12! In winter, nature sleeps, but we move! We slide like otters and run like lynxes! We play outside and enjoy the wonders of the snow. We play detective and learn to recognize the tracks left by animals. We have fun discovering the pleasures of the outdoors in the winter. Red cheeks guaranteed!
Our special activity program, centered around a different theme each year, is specially designed so that your child can enjoy the magic of winter and the magnificent Bois-de-Liesse nature park in all its winter splendor! Tobogganing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, science experiments, building shelters, walking in the forest, nature interpretation, nature crafts, storytelling and more are on the menu! This is a day camp that will enchant children of all ages!
The day camp takes place in complete safety thanks to Association des camps du Québec (ACQ)-certified supervision and the first aid training of our nature educators. In addition, early drop-off and late-pickup options are available.
Winter is a beautiful but mysterious season! The landscape is completely transformed by the cold and snow, as if by magic! How do the flora and fauna adapt to these changes? What do animals do in winter? How do they stay warm? Where do frogs disappear to? Hibernation or wintering? These are all questions that our nature educators will answer during an enchanting week. Your child will be immersed in a fun and educational thematic adventure!
